I can't help much, but it seems that a lot of stores are currently clearing out their winter formal dresses, and I have seen a couple white ones.
Someone who has gone to convention can correct me on this - but it seems to be easiest to find a white business dress (you know, one that would come with a suit jacket) - especially considering spring merchandice is starting to come out. Or you could make one.
I'd love to come to convention this year, but there's no way I could attend with my life so up in arms right now. Thank goodness their bi-yearly - hopefully I can go in 2006!
