Our chapter's tradition is that pledges (new members!
) couldn't wear stitched letters until we got our Big Sisters... so the first set of stitched letters were our family letters! Like, we got hand-me down stitched letters during our C-H-I-O week, but we couldn’t wear them until we got our bigs..... I like the tradition because it means that the first set of letters you wear were made JUST FOR ME!!! hehehehe Plus, we got so much Chi-O stuff from hand-me-down day that I didn't feel like I couldn't visibly represent my membership, you know?
