I wasn't expecting anything from Marc the Beta (as my LJ biaaas so lovingly call him) because it's still new and we're still just getting to know each other.
Tonight he called me and asked if I could take Valentines' Day off from work at the bar. The girl in me tried to get him to spill his plans, but of course he didn't say anything. I was on the phone with my boss less than 10 seconds after I hung up with him and I got the night off, even though it means losing $$$ in tips from a Saturday night.
Somebody slap me because I still can't stop smiling.
