I was on Emory's campus on one night last week and saw several young ladies in different groups with black dresses and heels on. Because of GC I said, "hummm....must be Pref night!"
Then on Saturday I was on campus again and went to the DUC for a bite to eat when I saw dozens of girls with balloons chanting. I knew it had to be bid day!
BTW, one group, who will remain nameless, decided to take their group pictures on the front lawn of the hospital. Although my mother's room was on the 5th floor we could here them chanting quite clearly. It was not a distraction to her (my mother is a very active member of her sorority graduate chapter)--as a matter of fact she smiled when I told her what it was--I'm sure it disturbed some of the patients. Something to think about next time..
All in all it was all very cute
