Why I joined Pi Phi: My big sis.
I went through rush not knowing a soul and had my heart set on a house right after mixers. It took a couple sets for Pi Phi to really stand out, but it only took one sister's genuineness to convince me it was the place to be. And though not every aspect of sorority life was perfect (that would've been impossible, of course), I wouldn't have changed a thing. One of the most incredible benefits of being a sister is having the Pi Phi connection wherever you go; that instant connection with someone because of the sisterhood you share.
