Seems you are correct. When I saw it live, I thught it was a shiney, silver pasty, covering the whole nipple. From the picture below, it is a silver sun type thing that has a hole in the middle and that part is surrounding the nipple itself. And the sun's rays spread over the aerola (or however it's spelled) - but you can definitely see stuff you aren't supposed to on network TV.
