Reston is in northern Fairfax County on the way to Dulles Airport. It began as a planned community (one of the first in the nation). In fact, the name 'Reston' uses the initials of the developer of the community "R E S" - Robert E. Simon.
Used to live in Northern Virginia 15 years ago. Things may have changed over time.
