who ever seems to win best direction seems to win best picture. Anyone else notice that?
I've noticed this too. It didn't happen last year with the Oscars, though. But I think LOTR will win this year. It won best picture at the Producer's Guild awards and that's usuallly a good predictor for the Oscars. Unless the voters go for Mystic River.
