There's actually a "Texans in DC" type group. You should look that up... I wish I could think of the name. My mom was showing me stuff like that when I thought about moving up there. It's just a group of Texans that get together and do random things... In the summertime they have a big bbq and what not.... There are a tonnnnnnnn of Texans up there, so you won't feel too far away from home. Plus the founders of Texas were from Virginia. That's why there are a lot of Texans at VA schools...
Oh, for all you OU people... There are a lot of people crossing the border because the major Texas universitites have grown to freakisly large sizes. This over-growth isn't limited to JUST oh might OU (sarcasm) ... The amount of Texans at LSU (geaux tigers!) has shot up in recent years....
If you don't like Texas, go else where...
New Yorkers are more friendly than Oklahomans... I swear... I've never met more rude people than at the Sugar Bowl... It's called MANNERS! PASS THEM ON!
