I think I wore the "rose drop" necklace to my 30 year reunon. a few months ago. I'm supposed to be getting my belated Christmas present soon (an AGD watch).
As for shared symbols, guess AGD is unique..we have red/buff roses with green ferns...with a squirrel mascot!
