I didn't understand this at first, either, until I learned many people attribute this to the fact it's more expensive to eat healthily. It's cheaper and easier to give the kids some money and take them to McDonalds than it is to go to the grocery store and buy all these fruits and veggies and make them something. (And as someone who is currently trying to eat healthier, I can attest that our grocery bills are 15-20% higher now, buying fruits, veggies, whole grains and low-fat foods, than when I would buy our "normal" foods.)

Or maybe a jamboree.
Or possibly even a shindig or lollapalooza.
Perhaps it'll be a hootshinpaloozaree. I don't know.
