I had my wisdom teeth removed during my final year of high school. The only day they could remove them was RIGHT BEFORE THANKSGIVING!!!
We didn't have a real Thanksgiving dinner that year. The surgery was done at a dentist's office, and I was able to go home right away. I was puffy for a few days. Since I didn't know how long I'd be "puffy" for, I booked the last possible slot for my graduation photos. At the time, I still worried that my cheeks wouldn't be "normal" in time for the shoot. Luckily they did.
