Perm N her hair or even a curly weave
wit a New Addition Bobby Brown button on her sleave

Ya tell a come 'er she says meet me half way
Cause brotha's been talkin' dat yang all day

Around da way your like a neighborhood jewel
All the homeboys sweat ya so your crazy cool

Baby hair pumpin' Lip gloss a shinin'
I think your in da mood for whining and dining.

Come on. It's a Total Classic that really takes you back. It sets the scene cause back in the day, it was so very much like that.

Does anyone know....

I'm trying to find this song....I don't know who sang it, but here are some of the lyrics....

"woke one morning, tears in my eyes, cuz you had left me without a kiss or a note or good-bye...now I have to. learn to live alone......(something else)

Chorus: "thinkin about you girl, thinkin about you girl...I'm thinkin about you girl...."

the man singing reminds me of the lead singer of Cameo, but I don't think its them....help me someone...this song is in my head and I gotta download it......

Thinkin' Bout U 1998
"MP Da Last Don" No Limit
Master P featuring Mia X and Mo B. Dick 3:44

Woke one morning, tears in my eyes
The feds kicked in the door and
Caught me and my baby by surprise
He got high, but they didn’t find no dope
They said it was conspiracy just cause a hater said so
Now we might do time in the Pen
But the state don’t have a case
without witnesses and no evidence
So I guess once again that it’s on
But I really wish the haters would just leave us alone

Thinkin’ about you, boy (Thinkin about you, girl)
Do what you gotta do, boy (Do what you gotta do, girl)
Thinkin’ about you, boy (Thinkin’ about you, girl)
Thinkin’ about you (I’m thinkin’ about you)

My enemies hate me money can’t make me
B@#$%es can’t break me, the feds can’t take me
Give me four or five months and I’m out
It must be love mama put up the house
And the game won’t change nigga still the same nigga
Real thangs and little change nigga
But um, I gotta do what I gotta
Even if it take us slangin CD’s and narcotics
I gotta little sware when the penitentiary
‘Cause on these streets are heaven or hell
Now picture me balling
I love No Limit like sex and don’t plan on falling

(I’m thinkin about you girl) I’m thinkin about you, boy
(So do what you gotta do, girl) So do what you gotta do, boy
(I’m thinkin about you, girl) Thinkin’ about you, boy
(I’m thinkin’ about you) Thinkin’ about you

Muthaf@#$in’ right I’m a take it
How it come like a soldier
Tru click, tru b@#$%, go to war for ya
In the kitchen at the stove cooking up the product
‘Cause fiends love you most when you
Give it to ‘em rocked up
Chopped up b@#$%es in the game that was talkin’
But they didn’t know hoes got them feds stalkin’
Playing peek-a-boo, plotting on the front door
But all the goin’ find is some ghetto dope
So come on, so would you just let a b@#$% live
Stack my ends and raise my kids
Ride my Benz, flow my ice
Teachin’ all them ghetto b@#$es how to live this life
Why y’all fools trying to knock this b@#$%
It’s the tank, so you know you can’t stop this
Watch this young black family take this whole industry
And run it, thinkin’ ‘bout you while we done it

Thinkin’ about you, boy (Thinkin’ about you, girl)
Do what you gotta do, boy (Do what you gotta do, girl)
Thinkin’ about you, boy (Thinkin’ about you, girl)
Thinkin’ about you (I’m thinkin about you, I’m thinkin about you, girl)

I’m thinkin about you, boy (So do what you gotta do, girl)
So do what you gotta do, boy (I’m thinkin’ about you, girl)
Thinkin’ about you, boy (I’m thinkin’ about you)
Thinkin’ about you, thinkin about you

**my advance apologies if I did not catch the profanity that might be in the song**

CT4, you found the SUPER GHETTO Master P., Mia X, Mo B. Dick version of the song! However, there is an original that is VERY elusive. I do know that version. It is a New Orleans bounce CLASSIC! Of course, we have a "brown beat" running under it. (CT4, I'm sure you heard the "brown beat" when you were down here!) I'll be happy to send you a copy over IM or something. OohSoFlyDelta, I don't know if you will like our version (unless you like bounce music ), but I'll still be happy to send you a copy. If you know anyone that has a copy of Master P.'s The Last Don, try looking at the liner notes to see the if they list the original name and artist of the song. They should have to give credit since they sampled the song. Here are the lyrics:

Woke one mornin', Tears in my eyes
You had left me without a kiss, or anote, or goodbye
Now I've got to learn to live alone
But my heart can't take it
I guess that's why I wait by the phone
For a call, a call from you
That says you need me back, just as much as I need you
But I guess for the time you need to stay away
Let me tell you baby how I'm thinkin' of you everyday

I keep thinkin' 'bout the good times we had
And how we let jealously turn all we had good into bad
Then I realized we'd just try it again
Our love would work it out
You'd be my girl and I'd be your only man

Thinkin' about ya, girl (I'm thinkin' about ya)
Thinkin' about ya, girl (I'm thinkin', I'm thinkin' about ya)
Thinkin' about ya, girl
Thinkin' about ya, thinkin' about ya, girl

Used to be, when I saw you in the town
Greet you with a smile, but from you all I get was a frown
But things'll change just like a revolution, baby
Talked on the phone without a fight
I think I found a solution
I've heard before good things come to those who wait
But if you thinkin' right now's not a good time
Don't you worry 'cause I'll just wait
I'll be patient, one of a few
Who can survive, survive just thinking of you
I keep thinking 'bout all the love we made
How in the world a girl can love me that way
Then I realized we'd just try it again
Our love would work it out
You'd be my girl and I'd be your only man

Thinkin' about ya, girl (whoa)
Thinkin' about ya, girl (I'm thinkin', I'm thinkin' about ya)
Thinkin' about ya, girl
Thinkin' about ya, thinkin' about ya, girl
