I graduated with a degree in Sociology. My concentration was in Criminology & Criminal Justice. I
thought that I wanted to go into Federal law enforcement. However, after completing an internship with a Federal law enforcement agency I realized that it was NOT for me. I decided to go back to school for an MBA. I spoke with my career services office and asked how I could use my soc. degree to better my career in the business sense and they said that it could be seen as me having really good people skills.
Many of the other people that I know with Soc. degrees either went into law enforcement, academic sociology, or the health profession. Good luck!!
