WOW!!! This is indeed a question to ponder.
My answer is this, unless attire is specified, I would go casual. Casual meaning some nice khakis, an outfit from Lerner, in other words look nice but be casual.
Do not wear your prom dress or your pajamas to movie night.
I would caution you to use your BEST judgement as well as common sense. Ask the Deltas on your campus. They will know better than I would.
