you had a temperature that high for that long and NO ONE told you to get to a hospital or doctor ASAP?!?!?!?!?! *shakes head*
That's dangerous. If you are still having symptoms, ESPECIALLY a fever (regardless of how high it is now, a fever is a fever) I'd see a doctor right away and tell them for all the reasons you listed here. IF they cannot get you in for whatever reason, go to the emergency room. People have been dying of the flu lately, it's a very bad strain this season. Those having already gotten the flu shot are even getting it (though not half as bad). DONT play around with your health, ESPECIALLY with the symptoms you have described..........
I'm not technically a nursing student yet. I just graduated in business management, though I have had biochemistry and anatomy thus far with A's. I'll be taking physiology and nutrition in the spring, clinical microbiology in the summer, and will be starting the actual 16 month BSN accelerated program in the Fall. I also volunteer 8 hours a week in a hospital currently, will be observing in the heart cath lab shortly, and have done observations in doctor's offices already.
Again please use common sense and see someone SOON.
