That scene from Parenthood, where Steve Martin dreams about his son shooting people from the tower - that tower is the Century Tower, one of the University of Florida's landmarks. The people at whom the kid is shooting were all UF students.

If anyone cares, the rest of Parenthood was filmed in Orlando, around my parent's neighborhood. The family's house is in the College Park neighborhood only 10 minutes away from where I grew up. And the Publix grocery store is *my* Publix. That's the scene where the daughter and her boyfriend go to pick up the pictures but end up getting her parents's photos and realize that oops! Dad got the naked ones! That little photo booth was just constructed for the movie - there never was one there. I know most of the the Little League kids - the movie donated money to the College Park Little League and a bunch of the guys I went to middle and high school with are all over that movie.

Also, at the beginning of Just Cause, when Sean Connery is lecturing at "Harvard", he's actually at UF, in the University Memorial Auditorium, which is this beautiful, gothic looking building. Seems like a lot of movies starring Harvard actually use "stunt double" colleges, hmm? The real thing must charge too much!
