My hairstylist is (Asian) Indian (born and raised in Trinidad though) and I absolutely love how she does my hair. She has "growing" hands as they say.
I am picky though at who I let do my hair because of a bad experience. Some stylists, whether they are white, black, etc...get scissor happy when it comes to trimming the ends.
Other than that, if she's in the mood, I'll ask my mom
