Actually, I feel this is relevant to the post. catholic with a little C is universal. Catholic with a big C is pertinent to the Catholic Church, ie the Holy Roman Catholic Church. It's my religion and my school, so I think I am allowed to have some input.
A Catholic school is a Holy Roman Catholic school. A catholic school...well, I've never heard of one of those. The school of life, maybe?
