So...can someone tell me...why was a helicopter falling?
Am I the only one who doesn't like Luka?
The helicopter was falling because of a freak change in the winds. The pilot lost control. It first kinda crashed on the roof and some of the blades of the chopper were breaking off. Then it skidded over the edge of the roof and hit the side of the building where Luka and the front desk nurse were (another ward). There was an explosion at that point. (It hadn't exploded on the roof.)

Now, Romano WAS on the roof, but he had a panic attack and couldn't stay there. So he went downstairs and went all the way outside to get some air. He saw one of the med students smoking a joint (long story) and he angrily told him to go inside and wait for him. Romano then walked to the middle of the street/alley, and noticed this firey wreckage falling around him. (From the explosion when the chopper hit the building.) He looks up, and the chopper is coming right for him. He hits the ground and says nooooooooo! (Which was nat because the camera angle was from the ground up.)

And then he died.

For the rest of the episode, nobody knew where he was. In fact, they didn't even move the wreckage from the chopper until the very last scene of the episode, and the movers were like "Oh damn..." and shining their flashlight on what must have been Romano's charred remains.
