My chapter has not a philanthropy project for recruitment since I went through 3 years ago, so I can't help you much there.
As far as preferece ideas...:
WE use the Believe in Theta video
We have been using the Wildflower ceremony for a couple years...
Have you seen the poem "I was at me best" It's posted on the Theta Nat'l site, once you log in and is under recruimtent poems...We do it as a popcorn poem...
I can't think of anything else, besides what you have already mentioned...
