You know that some men can not bear to be in a relationship with a woman who is more succesful than they are, and will do everything they can to sabotage it. He was probably messin with the cousin a. to hurt her and b. to make himself feel like he had power in the relationship.
I don't know if this is rumor or truth, but if it did happen I hope Lauryn told him to get the HELL on! Messing with family is something you JUST DON'T DO.
