Tom, because some of the comments rudey said off hand were religion-based (i.e. stoning and such).

This is the assumption that all african and arab muslims who come to western societies are barbaric. This is offending b/c i am both african-canadian and muslim ...so I take this comment as a personal insult.

He is giving people Muslim people a bad name when he suggests that rape and stoning is OK, when it is NOT. How countries behave and how muslim people in the western world behave is two separate things. You are mixing civilians with politicians. Again he shows this is a religious matter when he refers to "Christian" americans...as if to say one is better than the other..again, this is a false assumption.
Comment 3: "Either way this is more about how some people try to use their culture to excuse certain vile acts. If you behead them like in Mecca, I think they might not like their culture." again he is suggesting that all muslim people are from saudi arabia..because no two muslim country has the CULTURE....makes me wonder if he truly lived overseas!
So Tom, as you can see, There IS a race and religious issue here in this thread.
