I was taught that you shouldn't wear a shirt and jacket, or shirt and hat, or other combos (unless it's like the DAY after you cross, lol).

Otherwise, I was taught that you can double non-essential para (hats, shirts, jackets) ONLY with essential para (an umbrella, tote bag, bookbag).

Lavaliers and rings don't count, to me, because they are usually unobtrusive.

And this isn't bad luck, I was just taught that it was tacky.
