Seriously, y'all, this is why you NEED to be careful if you use candles in ceremonies, during pref, or just around the house. Since the firefighters saw the room when they were putting the fire out, and most of them don't know that it had to do with ritual and should have been kept quiet (although considering the room was "secret," you think they'd be able to figure it out
). Most descriptions were pretty innocuous, but it only takes one mistake before descriptions of all your ritual material is printed in the school paper.
Not to mention the fact that the house is absolutely gorgeous, a historical landmark, and now needs several thousand dollars worth of repairs.
