i just got married this summer and everything included we (well my dad!) spent about $4500.
I had a fairly traditional, medium sized wedding (about 100 guests). We had a DJ and a buffett style dinner. I really went to town with flowers though.
Advice - plan as much as possible now - save yourself the headache later!
