Maybe the lips were off due to transmission time. If we were seeing it live (via satellite?), then the image will come before the sound. Right? I really just thought of this, but last night, I was ticked about that!!! LOL!

while i was over here laughing at some of the stuff that many of you had posted...there was a moment when the ish just stopped being funny.
all i could do is shake my head and think...
"black folx can't do ish right!"
and Viacom allowed us to see how we can be more than ignorant. Black folx showed their asses last night...*with some notable exceptions i read*
other than that...its obvious that BET will after a fiasco such as this...*among other sad issues with BET...it has always been bootleg*
Eventually...i can definitely see Viacom making BET into Urban MTV or MTV Soul. Just as VH1 has an all Urban/Soul network and so does STARZ (BET/STARZ).
Its very distressing that we, as black people, continue to show ourselves as modern day minstrels. Spike Lee had it right on in Bamboozled.

I said it and here is my proof: All right call me bored, call me obsessed with the truth but I have a stack of old Ebonys, one featuring Ms. Whitney on the cover and it is the Dec. 1998 issue. Quoting from page 162, " She also says that Bobby is a good and loving father to their daughter, Bobbi Kristina, and also to his other 3 children, ages 13, 9 and 6." It wasn't that bad people!!! Whitney is always good for a laugh. That's the way I look at it. Was I the only one who noticed something was coming out of her dress?? As far as I'm concerned they should have called it the BET Music Awards. I thought black entertainment was more than just videos. Oh well. Eve holding up the Sixers jersey in Shaq's face was my favorite moment.After watching the awards am I the only one who is NOT excited about the Jodeci reunion?

Side note....those gowns worn by DC3 are actually recycled. I have seen them in those same gowns at another award show. Now you know Momma Knowles knows better than that. But then again maybe not, since she set them up in those oogly ensembles for the halftime show....just my thoughts.

I'm just mad that BET didn't specify a dress code. Had this been the grammys or american music awards folks would have attempted to dress to impress. At Black award shows they seem to not give a damn and dress like they going to the club.....

I caught Whitney’s crack-head performance and I saw Mary J reading the damn paper ... now Mary is my girl, go to all her concerts - love her to death but come on throw the sun glasses on and call it a day she must have lost a contact or maybe that damn wig was in her damn eyes ... anyway Christina rocked it, but Whitney was too happy that she sung it well, I have heard better renditions.

Yet, with all the hot mess that you all say happened I am dying to see the re-broadcast!

I loveded (yes loveded) me some jodeci ... after what yall said I gotta check them out again ... so maybe I will have another update when I see it. Peace yall!!

Also Whitney's lining at the top was coming out, I peeped that. She needs to cuss her designer out because although I am sure that dress is available at Lazarus, I am sure she had it made by some designer who ripped her off.
