Bid Day At UNCC
Today is Bid Day at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. That's all I know, bids are being distributed between 12:30-1:30PM today. The sororities represented on campus are:
Alpha Delta Pi
Chi Omega
Delta Zeta
Sigma Kappa
Zeta Tau Alpha

Good luck! I hope everyone gets who they wanted! I am a ZTA here at Winthrop Univ. in Rock Hill, SC so we're not too far away!

I will post any details I get! It's been a "tradition" that due to low numbers participating, the sororities never all make quota. The director really wants a new group on campus but that isn't possible until all the groups are strong in numbers! I am not up enough on info to say who the top tier is but I would guess Alpha Delta Pi and Chi Omega from what I've observed.
I'm a little sad though, Bid Day makes me wish I hadn't had to go alum due to transfer I love the excitement of it!

Congrats to Chi Omega on a great new member! I discovered a good friend of mine here at UNCC had a red & yellow new member ribbon on this morning in class!!!! She didn't even tell anyone she was rushing As far as I know she will have her new member period all Fall semester and will be initiated following Winter Break. At UNCC they call their new girls, "Hooties" So now I call her "Hootie!" And a side note my unofficial award for the cutest Bid Day shirt goes to Delta Zeta, fushia pink and green! 1st runner up would be ZTA!

I talked with the ADPi adviser at UNCC last night. ADPi, Zeta, ChiO made quota. She thinks maybe DZ also did. Sigma Kappa did not. Quota was 31. Several took quota plus ( I know ADPi did) and seniors (several went out) did not count in quota.
As far as the above post, if you are interested in Phi Mu alumnae, PM me. We have a couple of Phi Mu's who are active and I can certainly get you in touch with them and, therefore, an alumnae group.

I believe Delta Zeta did. The others who took quota didn't surprise me. Sigma Kappa's are great here but they will do COB and be fine! UNCC Charlotte is very accepting of taking juniors and seniors.
