Going to Emily H. Butterfield's medallion dedication ceremony renewed my pride in Alpha Gamma Delta (yet again).

From recently initiated women of Zeta Alpha and Alpha Upsilon to the amazing number of Volunteer Services Team members that we have in this state to the woman who knew Emily personally and who has attended every Convention since the 1950's, to current and former officers of International (or Grand) Council, it was great to see the largest turnout for a Founder medallion dedication right here in Michigan! There were even several real squirrels in attendance!!

Hearing the long list of Emily's accomplishments and contributions, not just to the Fraternity, but to society as a whole, made me proud to be an Alpha Gam and humbled to think that we are following in the footsteps of such an amazing woman.
