I think women are a lot harder on other women in general, which really sucks.
One of the things I've tried hard to do is to be positive to all women, and it's sad that it's something that has to be learned, instead of something that comes naturally. There is a book that specifically deals with that---it's called
Slut: Growing Up Female with a Bad Reputation . It's a biographical sketch of several different women, ranging from 13 to 70, whom at one point have been given bad reputations based on their (actual or perceived) sexual activity. The biggest perpetrators of the "slut," "whore," or other epithets are--you guessed it, other women.
So, did the guys get a piece of your mind for sleeping with the same girl in the same night? That isn't too cute, either.
