Bid delivery
How are bids delivered at Penn State now?
They used to tell PNMs to stay in their rooms during certain hours on bid day (7:00 - 8:00, for example). Then the sororities sent groups of 5-6 girls around to each Residence Area, where they (loudly, singing) delivered the bids in person and collected each girl.
It was hard on the nerves, because you didn't know who was coming for you. And if XYZ came to get your roommate or someone on your floor and then left, you didn't know if that meant someone else would be coming for you or that XYZ would be back.
