The one I will never forget is the Irishman who worked in the WTC - survived....then found out that his sister and niece were in the plane that his tower, and their best friend, was in the other plane that hit the other tower.
*shudders* I can't even fathom that kind of loss.
I'm about to leave for a memorial at noon for the firemen - I probably won't make it through without crying like a baby.
