This morning at 10 (West Coast time) a coalition of black organizations are stepping up to the task. Led by activist Najee Ali, the coalition is set to launch a national boycott against the energy drink and the stores that carry it.
"Nelly is selling out because he only cares about making money, just like pimps and drug pushers. We intend to chase Nelly's Pimp Juice out the black community," stated Ali, National director of Project Islamic Hope.
The press conference/boycott will be staged at The Liquor Bank, 3600 Stocker Blvd. (Crenshaw & Stocker)

Najee Ali is an interesting cat. A few years ago, I saw a story about him and his efforts to keep the Los Angeles black upper-middle-class and middle-class from leaving the Crenshaw area. The Liquor Bank is at the foot of the Baldwin Hills/View Park area, BTW.
