I believe your bid is binding for one calendar year, so I think that you could return to KD within that timeframe. Someone more knowledgable of Green Book rules please correct me if that's not right!
Rachel, I'll suggest that you contact your New Member Educator (or whatever KD calls the officer entrusted with the New Members!) immediately. Let her know what's going on with you health-wise, and ask her to find the answers to your questions.
