I watch both and think that lately both have been overplaying their main storylines (GH - The Sonny Family/Mob Saga and Y&R - Damon Porter and Tuvia/Safra). Generally though, Y&R keeps me more engaged with the storylines by using old fan favs and writing realistic teen stories. GH throws WAY TOO MANY newbies front and center, neglecting to use family ties (Carly was kidnapped but Bobbie was no where to be found; same with Audrey when Liz married and divorced Ric...also, they fire AJ so Courtney and Skye can have more air time, YAWN!!!).
