It is really annoying - those schools should just say: "At Competitive State U, nearly every sorority requires a recommendation. If you are having trouble finding one, here are several local alumnae panhellenics for Mobile, Birmingham, Chicago, LA, New York, etc, who will be happy to assist you with recommendations." I think a
lot of wonderful women get overlooked because they believed this hooey from Panhell.
