My best advice is to look to a local amusement park for fundraisers.
I set up my chapter at
Cedar Point . We work concessions and get a percentage of the sales. The best part is that we work half days, 2 shifts, and get free admission to the park for the down time. Cedar Point also plans for the elements. They figure out if we would have made more through commission or hourly wages, and pay us the greater of the two. Currently, we're on track to clear around $6,000 this year from this fundraiser alone.
