I know that you all were just having fun with us northerners. I get it all of the time when visiting with family. Shucks, my own dad (who is notorious for cooking with fatback much like his South Carolinian parents) teases me because I cook "non-traditional" southern cuisine.
I just think that what I said needed to be said. It's important that we not forget that a moment in time and distance seperates us, yet we remain bound by a common culture.
