I had to make an appearance!!! Tom, thank you for being a friend through this. It really helped. Lifesaver, you didn't think I forgot did you??? Thanks to you too.

You and Tom were the original reason I even started "investigating" LXA. Lifesaver, remember when I thought you were a SX? I thought so because I hold them in a high regard too. Since GC, I have such positive feelings about ALL the fraternities. There was just something about LXA that made me want to know more. Then I discovered a chapter at LSU. As many know, it was up in the air for a while. He didn't know if he WANTED to rush.

The next thing that I wanted him to understand was that college was a time to grow-step outside of the comfort zone. He was rushed really hard all summer by another fraternity and it was almost a certainty he would pledge them. Since I have been on GC, Tom, lifesaver, Delt Alum, Dekeguy, James, Arya, ktsnake, SigmaChiCard ALL gave me good advice to pass along to my son.

I said this on the MY SON IS thread, but I want to say it here to YOU guys. I am so pleased that he saw in LXA what I believed was important when choosing a Greek Organization. I am so pleased that they saw that something special in him.

You have two other young men-my son's roommate and another friends since grade school. His roommate would be in our little "talent show" every year since 4th grade till 8th. I worked with him and love him like a nephew. He is a great young man! The other boy, I've known since 5th. He and my son played soccer together. What a great guy! Funny as all get out! These three! Oh my are they something else! I say that with a huge smile!
