I find it hard to believe that the same power company controls power in Michigan, Ohio and New York but not PA. Let alone Canada. Unless they go by different names. I don't know. It all reeks of Dubya to me. And it is very reminiscent of the "brown outs" in Cali. We thought that was legit, too, until the Enron scandal came out. I don't know, this just all sounds iffy to me.

I will say this, I work for a very large utility in PA, and even though way down deep in my gutt, I think this is linked to terrorism, all utilities can be linked. What it is is, they are all on the same interconnect. Like for where I am in PA, our interconnect is PJM, which is PA,NJ,MD. The part of Jersey is south Jersey, where as north Jersey is on that interconnect with NY.
Oddly enough the state of TX has it's own....now why is that when it's not as large as the state of Cali, is it because of the "Bush" people that use to run that state?
I can say this, if you are on an interconnect, and the substaion, or plant does go out due to fire, or flooding, everyone on that interconnect will be without power. What I don't understand is......how did this happen? I mean our PJM interconnect is monitored like crazy. So you know we here in the southeastern part of PA were put on alert right after all this happened.
