Few awards require such dedication to buffoonery as the annual induction into the Chic Happens Hall of Fame. This year's winner, already a legend, showed that even after a career as gossip fodder he's still capable of reaching deep inside and pulling off that one further embarrassment that snatches international headlines. Such is the mettle of a true fashion champion.
This year's Hall of Fame trophy—the coveted star-shaped ashtray—goes to Calvin Klein. In March, Klein staggered onto the court in the middle of a New York Knicks basketball game to give star-player Latrell Sprewell advice on a play—or perhaps ask him out. 
The 60-year-old designer entered rehab, again, two weeks later. The incident even prompted the New York City Council to debate a special "Calvin's Law," which would provide stricter penalties for anyone interrupting sporting events.
