you could also pref three houses and rank your choices 1 through three. It depends on how large your greek system is etc. If the idea of bid matching gets confusing you should check out the thread about quota and bid matching etc. It reads somewhat like a text book (and breaks me out in hives

P.S. to me bid day is the fun day, you don't worry anymore, you just receive your invitation to join and get a t-shirt LOTS of pictures, a celebration with your new sisters etc.
