That's funny...I think the reason I have a not-so-secret crush on him is that he's utterly unlike anyone I've ever known. The Southerners I know are those who chose to go to college in the Northeast, so they are not exactly a representative sample. In real life, I'm sure Ace and I have nothing in common and we wouldn't get along. On TV, though, I find him insanely hot, probably because he's the antithesis of my usual type (urban, well-traveled Ivy League intellectuals). To me, Ace is a lot more exotic than the French!
