If you live in Texas, the idea may sound silly.. Your retailers are making a killing though, especially in border towns. This weekend, there was a mass migration of Oklahoma cheap asses to north Texas. It was so bad that we received memos from corporate on how to explain why we weren't voluntarily reducing our prices to make up for the lack of taxes (the clothing stores at the malls do this to try to keep the $ at home).
People get stupid thrills out of what they think is beating the system.
