There are 4 types of GLO's (at least 4 to my knowledge) and they are: Social (also called "general"), Professional, Honorary, and Service.
Normally if you are already an initated member of a type (for example, social) you are not able to become an initaited member of another social GLO.
I'm pretty sure the same thing goes for Professional GLOs (Delta Sigma Pi has rules against dual membership in other professional business GLOs, but it is OK to also be part of a social and honorary or service at the same time as being a member of Delta Sig.)
I'm not sure about honorary or service GLOs though.
I do know that you can be a member of a social, professional, honorary, and service GLO at the same time (although that is a lot of time committments!)
