Actually, no... Back in my day South Beach was a geriatric ward and the art deco district was almost wiped off the map to make way for condos. But Miami Vice put South Beach on the map!

When I came back down for my 10-year reunion in '93 it was a bear driving up Ocean Drive on a Saturday night!
