BUMP!!!
So ladies ... I know im just the weird random girl on the board. But I wanted to ask how everyone GOT their paddles, cause I know lots of chapters do it differently. Like who you got them from, when you got them, and any other special things about them!
Well as I have prob-ly said a million times ... my chapter has their NMs pick "moms" while they are pledging (and they are seperate from bigs). We each recieve a paddle made for us by our mom's on initiation day. Traditionally they say your name in the middle, the top says your pledge class and the bottom says who its from. Oh and of course almost ALL of them are tied with a wire ribbon ... lol people spend HOURS with curling iorns and such just to make the ribbon look perfect
Come on!! I wanna hear stories about my sisters!!!
Edit: Oh yea! Our mom's get pillows from their daughters on initiation day too!
