I'm hoping that someone can give more information about it, just because it's really hard to hear several people saying how great it is, then having no basis for us to make any sort of opinion on that ourselves.
No one should ever invest their time and money in blind faith. If I knew more about it and if it was as worthwhile as it sure sounds you that have gone believe, i'd definately consider bringing it up to my undergrad chapter and to other KDs that I know. But with zero info on it, all of us who haven't had the "experience" are pretty clueless.
For a very random, gut-reaction, no-real basis, outsider-looking-in view, it sounds like one of those cult things
No information, several people just saying how great it is and that you HAVE to go.
