I attend a school in the north now where we are a REAL minority. I asked my BF when I first got here did they have a place where people just hung out between classes, watched people, and gossiped like what I had showed him when he visited my school. He just looked at me like I was crazy.

I hate this d%nm school....

I'm curious-What school do you go to? Or What State? I'm just wondering because I go to a non-HBCU in Pennsylvania and hear people way "I hate this d%nm school.." on a regular basis.
