I'm staying on campus over the summer, and since my school doesn't have a summer session, I miss everything so much! I can be sitting here, thinking about what *should* be going on on a typical night, and it's not happening!
Right now, I miss having a porch on my sorority's house (our grounds crew tore out our old one and is putting a new up sometime this summer), and I miss having sisters around to sit on the porch with and talk for hours and hours.
I miss late night club meetings, especially Thursday nights, which are the nights that our campus newspaper does layout. I have to be there because I'm Op/ ed editor. I miss staying up until 4 or 5 in the morning trying to get the paper out. I also miss row club meetings at 10:30 at night.
I miss the food in Commons. I am fending for myself this summer, and I just miss eating in Commons with all the noise and action. And the good food. I miss that. One of these nights, eating all that ramen will give me noodle poisoning...
I miss having people around. With no students here, and very few people here for the summer, it is so lonely!
Most of all, I miss being able to sleep later than 7:30! (I work M-F 8-4:30...arg.)
Last, I miss having a roommate. Sure, there are conflicts sometimes, but I miss actually living with somebody!
